NBA // Retail Store Experience
The NBA was launching a pilot retail store in Beijing and needed to create a unique customer experience, while staying within the NBA brand guidelines. While Richard Altuna, renowned retail architect, designed the store type(s), we worked on environmental concepts and designs. The idea of “larger than life” worked well with the new store designs and the NBA attitude. Large format murals supported the theme and allowed for more flexibility around the strict photography usage guidelines. Inside and out, the retail environment felt like a basketball arena.
